Support
Need help with a room, a connection, your Nobody profile, saved account or privacy? Start with the player guide for rules and controls. Sudoku Mates is operated by VIRCIT OU. The official support and privacy contact is support@kono.dev.
Connection lost or a room will not load
- Check your internet connection and select Retry if the app offers it.
- Try the browser game at sudoku.blinkden.com. If both the app and website cannot connect, wait a few minutes and try again.
- If the problem continues, email the room code, approximate time, app version, device type and exact error message.
Do not clear app or browser data as a first troubleshooting step: it can remove the token that connects you to your anonymous profile.
If you played as Nobody on another game website, return to that website to keep using its local credential. Browser storage and local progress do not move between game websites. A saved account can recover its server records after sign-in; local Practice progress remains on the website where you played.
Starting, joining and finishing a race
- A host can start when at least two connected players are ready, even if more slots are open.
- The board stays hidden until the shared countdown. Everyone receives the same server-generated puzzle and start time.
- When enabled, late joining uses the original timer. You can choose Watch to spectate without seeing private answers.
- Reaching the room's mistake limit loses the race but does not prevent you from continuing to solve. Archive and stop lets you stop without finishing.
- Waiting rooms expire after up to 2 hours without an update; active and finished rooms after up to 24 hours without an update.
Room-invitation QR delivery is unavailable until its optional provider is configured. You can still share a room code or invitation link.
Nobody mode and optional saved accounts
You can play as Nobody without registration. A credential stored on this device reconnects your server profile, rooms, archive and statistics. Losing an unsaved Nobody credential can prevent recovery; do not clear storage as your first troubleshooting step.
Optional Google, Apple and email sign-in links let you save and recover a profile through an available linked method. If the account already has a profile, choose whether to use it or explicitly confirm a merge of your current Nobody profile. We do not combine profiles merely because their display names or email addresses look alike.
Signing out starts a separate Nobody profile without deleting your saved account. On iOS, secure Keychain storage may survive uninstall and reinstall, but this is not guaranteed. See the identity and recovery details.
Solo/Practice progress, notes and settings are local. The browser Daily board, moves and result are saved with your server profile; Daily pencil notes stay on this device. Native Daily progress remains local. Signing in does not transfer local Practice or native Daily progress.
Report or block a player
Use the in-game player list to report or block a player. A report prepares an email with room and display-name details. Blocking hides the player's public label and progress and removes friendship or pending requests.
You can also email support with a short description, room code, approximate time and the relevant display name. Include only information needed to explain the incident, and remove personal details from screenshots where possible.
Privacy, export and deletion
Open Settings → Profile to use Export server data, Delete Nobody profile or Delete account as appropriate. Account deletion requires recent sign-in. The Delete data page explains what is removed, what other players retain and how to make an email request.
For a privacy request, tell us your display name, approximate last-played date and relevant room codes if known. We may ask for limited non-secret details to identify the correct record. Do not send a session token or password.
What to include in a support email
- What happened, what you expected and the exact error text.
- Whether you used iPhone, iPad, Android or the browser game.
- The app version, approximate date and time, and room code if relevant.
- A screenshot without session tokens or unrelated personal information, if it helps explain the problem.
